Sorry, sobald ich "Denkmal" lese, fängt der Song von Wir Sind Helden in meinem Kopf an.
Bin auch eher nicht so ein Fan von Denkmälern...wenn, dann für mehrere Personen, weil es ja meistens nicht bloß ein Individuum ist, das ganz allein Historisches leistet.

Don't know if there's a spec. word/phrase. I've a tendency to overuse adverbs/adjectives, and I devise f.e. descriptions for characters that I stick to, but that's often bc it plants something for a later payoff.
I st think my syntax is repetitive. EN is my 2nd language, and I've been told in the past my syntax is too German, so I stick to sentences of which I know for sure are correct and avoid experiments.

Definitely. It's not that long ago I jotted down my stories in notebooks. I often wonder how it would change my writing style now if I used a typewriter or notebook. It's an experiment I plan to explore someday.
