It was a beautiful day to ride in Western Washington today. Tons of bikes out and it warmed up nicely.
171 miles for today, no real elevation but did have better speeds then average.
Girlfriend did a great job navigating the highway and dealing with highway speeds. Headsets make it much easier to feel comfortable riding together. She is talking a road trip weekend out to the coast 🥰.
She rides because it’s my thing and I love it and glad we have something that is just for us.

To save time, I heat shrinked the butt splices onto the harness so it’s easier to crimp.

Super weird looking glove liners I grabbed yesterday so I don’t have to wear my ultra heavy winter gauntlets.
Mid forearm tapered gauntlet, waterproof, wide enough to pull on and off gloved hands.
They are like those mounted grip covers, break the wind and keep your hands dry. Way more comfortable for Western Washington gloom.
Also, so light weight, they pack easy.
Best part, they cost me tax. Why? Cause #harleydavidson gives me money to ride, yeah, true story, HOG members get cash for each recorded mile. It adds up quick, just doing what I already do.

He is taped up in a way to keep him from his stitches. He has a new temp cage coming for recovery but he is doing ok so far.

I strongly believe in this, it teaches kids they can be who they want and still be respected members of our community. I have spent 40+ years trying to be who I wanted and now I can find joy in watching people give a shit about the little ones they are entrusted with.
