Creating a #Kodi addon was a very personal experience. I have used #Kodi years ago at the starting point of my #selfhosting and #programming journey. I dreamt of creating an addon myself back then. Now I am able to do something like this in just 2 days - thanks to an awesome #opensource community!

I had to take a deeper look into object storage services because I needed a storage for my new #Grafana #Loki setup (finally decided on a log aggregation system, yay!). During my research I found #MinIO, an awesome #selfhosted object storage alternative to (and drop in replacement for) S3. Not sure how I did not hear about this project before.
