A reminder that the only NATO member to have ever invoked Article 5 - the core mutual defense provision - of NATO's charter is ... wait for it ... the United States.
Historically speaking, suspending other member countries from NATO disproportionately weakens the US.

Trump's professed problem with the Obama/Iran deal was the $1.8 billion one-off payment Iran received, and its peaceful nuclear enrichment.
So he started a war to prove he could do better.
And as a result, Iran still does enrichment, but will get $49 billion every single year.
