Weekend reading! I'm back to Lessons in Chemistry & it is very good. Over 75% through it now. Next up is High Vaultage by Chris Sugden & Jen Sugden, which looks like a fun steampunk mystery.

100 rows left to go on my lovely smooshy shawl ππ§Ά I'd like to finish it by Easter but with each row longer than the last, that might be a wee bit optimistic!
Weekend reading! I've put Lessons in Chemistry aside after some sad news this week & just started Cat Dragon. Lessons in Chemistry is good, just not right now.
#amreading #books #bookstodonMore books! Lots of pretty lightweight books in this batch. Sarah Hawley and Olivia Atwater edged it in terms of quality but they're all good. Wherever the Stars Call by S Jean is a very good coming of age space adventure.

#caturdayWeekend reading! Getting into Confounding Oaths. I don't love the narrator but book 1 was fun so I do expect good things. Looking at the dull as dishwater synopsis, I'm not sure what to expect from Lessons in Chemistry. It's probably an important book but doesn't sound interesting. I hope it's better than it sounds.

Weekend reading! Sarah Hawley's third A Werewolf's Guide to Seducing a Vampire is a fun read so far. Next will be A Haunting Reprise, the last of Amanda DeWees's short supernatural series.
#amreading #weekendreading #books #bookstodonAnd here it is! I've finished knitting my first shawl! Well, more of a shawlette at 131cm but I'm happy with it ππ§Ά highly recommend knitting as stress relief, as long as you don't watch the news while knitting π
