Suite à un accident domestique mêlant Javel et vinaigre, une explication chimique

Quand le gaz chlore (Cl2) touche l'eau (H2O), le chlore et l'eau existent en équilibre avec un mélange d'acide chlorhydrique (HCl) et d'acide hypochloreux (HOCl) :

H2O + Cl2 <-> HCl + HOCl
