Oh I get it. The host cannot open my door. Whew. Ok I can still beat a pigeon

I can just as well deduce that my door has the prize, because if it didn't, the host would have opened it first thing.

If I code a simulation for this problem, will I really find a 2/3 probability for the remaining door?

Surely both remaining doors are at 1/2? Why would the new probability be dependent on past events, rather than being a memoryless process? What is the difference between the final situation and being put in front of 2 new doors?
