Rust is interesting because you can't just leave some junk you've built up (say bytecode) on an object (say your compiler) and then start playing around with it like the caller owns it all, just willy-nilly...

Two nights ago over 11K new people joined mstdn.social via invite links while I was asleep and this made the total active people on here to 53K.
The current issue / battle I'm fighting is to keep up with the background jobs for proccessing toots, follows, etc etc.
Please know that I'm doing my best. I've also setup an extra instance to spread the load a little on https://masto.ai
