The Dungeon Crawler Carl series really has no reason being as amazing as it is. On the surface, it should just be a silly set of books. The Earth has just ended because of aliens and a chunk of humans are fighting for their survival in an AI-controlled dungeon. OK, there's our TTRPG conceit.
But... then you realize you are reading a critique of capitalism and the horrible things it makes us do to survive. Suddenly, you care about silly characters. Characters you realize aren't nearly as silly as they let on.
I will also say, that the audiobooks are _amazing_. They are largely done by the one narrator, and folks thought he was using other actors without giving credit. I'd definitely recommend reading and/or listening to the DCC books.
Just had a brilliant insight, went to investigate further and it just... evaporated from my mind.

So now an OpenBSD porter updates IO-Tty and it only compiles with clang. Not GCC. Neither the ancient GCC in base nor GCC 15.2.0 in ports.

Summary The old autoconf-style function detection in Makefile.PL used char $f () forward declarations that conflict with actual prototypes from system headers on modern compilers (especially on Fre...
