This morning is "well, I'll be an early bird and beat the rush..." A thought echoed by thousands of others.

Every time I get a weird spam message from a fake account I resist the urge to mess with it, remembering @mainframed767 adage about instead taking pity on the fellow stuck in a boiler room being forced to send out massive scams on exchange for some pittance or other form of indentured servitude.
You are not an “influencer”. You are an untrained freelance marketing consultant working on spec for corporations who are monetizing your content and paying you a minuscule fraction of what you are bringing in. Good luck with that.

@thedarkener Thank you. When I am faced with a message that makes me feel like I have to do something, I pause and ask myself “what does the creator behind this message want me to feel? And why?”

What do the creators of AI gain from making us feel like we have to use it and act swiftly, or else? Who is profiting from us being scared to be left behind if we don’t use AI?

The inventors of the X-ray machine or the sewing machine didn’t threaten anyone. They just calmly offered it to the public.
