Kritzkom - Soft Waves

Sonic textures inspired by the textures of the sea waves. I spent a month in the fall at the sea side in Brittany and I have been swimming (almost) everyday. The water was most of the time cold and clear, other time full of algaes but also full of life. Fishes, insects and birds eating. The color of the sea, sky and textures the waves always varied. As the water was cold, I was first swimming to get warmer and then floating, observing, wandering and listening. A contemplative experience at a place I spent a lot of time in water in summer, but never at this season. Made with the instruments I had there, a modular synthesizer with Beads and Plaits, field recordings and Elektron Cycles.
