@backlon we just talked about this at brunch yesterday! A friend got them and she felt they were really hard to get used to. Her optician told her to just sit around for a week so she could get used to them. She said “I have a job, how am I going to just sit at home for a week and essentially do nothing to get used to them?” And… she never bought them again… because they are bullshit.

@jkottke yeah. Although with Bluesky still not sending out invites on any kind of scale, I wonder how many people have left to actively engage there. The last number I saw was they had about 55,000 users which wouldn’t really explain much of the decrease in chatter here. But what do I know? I’m inviteless…
