Interestingly I heard that wetting and then drying leather with heat will harden it. I'll research later, cause it would be cool to replace the plastic with something organic... But it might be not sturdy enough or too heavy. :/

This is my new prototype. Now when transferring it to plates, the joints between plate segments will lengthen the shape. So I might cut them out a bit smaller. And keeping this angle somehow intact through the process is suuuper crucial. If too heavy or off-angle, it will touch the floor.

AGHHHH I started a new one because this one is just too big to match my characters. I'll keep it around for now and one day probably have to simply recycle the materials for another project. Or maybe I'll create something that needs a big heavy tail.

@NiwlCraft On occasions I had to do screenshots instead of actual snapshots because the preview looked more like what I saw and better. And the photos that came out, did not. Silly that I never considered downloading another app for phototaking.

When we moved out, we took our favorite spider with us.

Had to let a piercing heal up for redo. 2 months later and the second piercer did much better but missed the mark too, angle was slightly off. I was happy with my other piercings from them, but now the trust is damaged. Next time it has to work out. And the waiting and anticipation until then is the worst.
