I know that bad news is coming when a co-worker messages me with "You're gonna be so mad..."

Grammarly has rolled out an AI-powered "expert review" feature where its simulacrum of me makes suggestions for your text. My real edits are usually along the lines of "Throw this into the sea."

More annoying #Apple #UX decisions. In News+ you have magazines you follow. You select them but if you read any article from any magazine it will add the magazine with a “we think you will like this” to your “following” tab. If I wanted to follow it, I would. Now I have to remove these from MY “following”.
Just a quick shout out to #bluetooth and radio in general for how amazing wireless audio is for range and power efficiency. I’m just impressed that I can leave my phone upstairs on one end of the house and go downstairs to the other end of the house and still listen to my podcast.

Here is a beautiful illustration created by an artist out of Pakistan. These illustrations will be printed on collectible cards, similar to Pokémon cards. The goal is to give artists a platform to share their art with the world in a fun, collectible way.

There is so much beauty in #art created by humans. No matter how advanced AI becomes, it will never match the creativity and raw emotional power of a human artistic creation.

Update: it’s the end of the day and my FitBit is now reporting 1,312 more steps than my Apple Watch. I’m not sure which one is more accurate. #FitBit #AppleWatch
I put on my FitBit and Apple Watch at the same time this morning. The FitBit is reporting 340 more steps than the Apple Watch. Any ideas? I will continue to monitor. #technology #FitBit #Apple #AppleWatch

"Terrible things are happening outside.

Poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes.

Families are torn apart.

Men, women, and children are separated.

Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared."

When I was a lad, back in the days of Ford and Reagan, Republicans constantly told us that having to carry proof of citizenship was the kind of thing the Nazis and Soviets and other totalitarian regimes did.

Welp.

At Vivaldi we continue to make choices that are different from our competitors. We have chosen to not integrate AI or crypto, but instead we integrate a wealth of other features, based on the wishes of our users.

We are a European company with most of the team based in Norway and Iceland, a few around Europe and a couple in the US.

Our servers are based in Iceland.

If you want to get away from Big Tech, maybe give us a try? If you are already using Vivaldi, maybe introduce your friends?

Have a nice day!
