For fun - and not having done new pixel art in a while - I made this mockup of a Zombies Ate My Neighbors sequel (that isn't Ghoul Patrol). I mentioned in places a while back that if I let myself just make a straight sequel to something that hasn't had one in a while, this could be one.

We're overdue for someone who mainly plays third- or first-person-shooters to claim *all* video games bosses are a stupid concept and should stop.

Nintendo is partly able to make these massive recent "freeform concept" games like the coming and past Zeldas because of really talented QA. It's more complex than a lot of games yet way more solid, too.
