My understanding is that when tankers asked for a US Navy escort, the Navy refused, deeming it too dangerous. So, we’re asking other countries to do it. Land of the brave.
Hey remember when Trump told the UK to fuck off and insulted them for calling up an aircraft carrier to support his mad king war. Yeah, anyway, that was last week. Now he is demanding the UK send ships to secure the waterway his war has made impassible because the US Navy has told him that the political risk of losing US ships is too high.

Trump has refused entry to 10 players on the Jamaican team scheduled to play a Concacaf match against the LAGalaxy because those 10 players are from Haiti. The Jamaican team is forced to call up less experienced players so they can still field a team for the game, putting them at a distinct disadvantage.
