@feliks yep and they wouldn't be wrong from their perspective. I know precious little about how to catch krill and navigate the seas. same way my cats know everything they need to know in order to cat. so it's all good.
@feliks yes, I sure would like to decipher what they say. although I doubt there's much in their little heads lol
@feliks I think they believe they are talking like we do. to them our speech must sound like a bunch of gibberish too. maybe they imitate that. I just don't know what triggers it in this situation, when someone's at the door. maybe they're ordering food from us, lol
@feliks it varies a lot but generally there isn't much purring or cooing. it's closer to the first video, but not quite. they're not agitated, but calm and focussed. and they "reply" when spoken to.
@feliks yes, pretty much the same sounds. I don't know if it's frustration. they're certainly not frustrated when they talk to us this way.
