While Anna is still manually writing the date and station, thanks to Ekitag-App I can already take pictures with the current stamp :)

Ekitag-App is an app to collect the station stamps.

I thought I scanned the same stamp but ended up with a differnet stamp...
God sake I can take pictures of Annas stamp book ;)

At my first accommodation, I was given some "typical Japanese fruits that I absolutely had to try".
It was the famous Ichigo, also known as strawberries in the rest of the world.
So this time I bought some typical Japanese sweets for myself!

I already saw Fuji-san twice but not with my travel partner. He was hiding at the first shinkansen pass by :(

Fuji-san was in a good mood today and was not playing hide & seek!

The Bento box was too small I guess?!?
RIP Bento box!
Thank you for your service!

Today the journey continues.
This time right at the front of the Shinkansen in car 16, row 14 seats E & D (Fuji-san side).
Maybe with a better view of the shy Fuji-san today?!? Last time he did hide very well... The weather does look good so far.
My travel companion is all set with her Bento box.

Congrats Gramps!

When you can finally leave the police station!

Why does my travel partner have to find a wallet on the sidewalk and why does the Japanese police translation app keep crashing?!
Oh, and of course it happened right during shift change...
And strangely I have never been practicing / learning japanese phrases for police stuff.

In Hattori Ryokuchi Park, Anna and I witnessed a massacre!
Crows stole a doll and tore out its hair to build its nest...

The Namba Yasakan Shrine is a somewhat idiosyncratic Shinto shrine.
Particularly striking is the Shishiden (Lion Hall), which is shaped like a giant lion’s head. It is used as a stage for the dedication of Kagura, Shishimai, and Iaido.

It is said that the lion’s large mouth swallows evil spirits, and many worshippers visit the shrine to pray for academic improvement, job offers, and success in examinations.

Also the ceiling is pretty impressive!
