Knome.app, from Academy Health and Learning, was created by Boston College Class of ‘28 student John (Jack) Ford. Inspired by the challenges facing his parents work in education and healthcare consulting, and researchers Nadine Burke-Harris, M.D., Pamela Cantor, M.D., and others, and by Sir Tim Berners-Lee’s SOLID.org, and Frank McCourt’s ProjectLiberty.io, Jack is helping to lead an effort already 5+ years old in the EU/UK: to reclaim personal data via decentralization.
