After visiting two Pink Gorilla stores in Seattle, I knew the Vegas store would be great too. And it was. Lots of great finds and some goodies. My favourite chain on the continent. Thanks Pink Gorilla, now can you open more locations everywhere else already?!
Whoa... There's a novel for Ico?? Sure it's an English translation but for 2USD it would be foolish not to buy. Also, that's the original game's cover art on the book. Brilliant.
Classic Game Junkie - Lansdale PA
This shop is split in half with Retroware Arcade. That's cool but it makes the store obviously smaller. Okay size, small to medium inventory. Fair variety and an okay toy and gaming memento items too. Nothing remarkable to note about it. I'd recommend it if in the area. Maybe next time I'll have more spare time and check out that arcade properly. Seemed to be admission based with cabs on free play!

CGR Games - Doylestown PA
Possibly the smallest retro store ever. It's not much bigger than a closet! 🤣 Obviously, space utilisation is maximised on the shelves and walls. Some tabletop games, toys, and controllers too. Worth dropping by if already in the area but not a good dedicated destination due to its sheer lack of size. Oddly enough there were a bunch of SFC carts there though!
Located in downtown Doylestown, there's plenty more to do around this shop!
A game story so rich, it even had a whole novel published just for it! These games introduced an interesting new character and offered gameplay that really gives the player an immersive experience of combat with Jedi powers. While I can't say they're perfect games, they still offer great detail and mostly balanced action start to finish. Two fun Star Wars games, as they ought to be.
The novel was as good as the game itself; don't miss out on it just because it's a game tie-in.
