OneTeamGov Canada

We used to have a real #GCDigital / #civictech scene in Ottawa.

Energy, peer help, momentum. Then it faded into calendar invites and muted mics.

I feel like I owe it to try and restart this. This is the first step.

Lean Coffee breakfast style. Small circle, face-to-face, zero slides.

Where: Outside Equator Coffee @ NAC (look for the OneTeamGov table sign).
When: Sept 30th, 08:30–09:30.
RSVP: https://luma.com/zjqrmqo0

@Samperd feeling the same right now.

Found my self drifting through the old spots.

Went to find oneteamgov Canada team, but found nothing but 👻.

I feel like work needs to be done by myself to bring some soul in the public service.

Undecided if I exist here or at @johnkingbain

I like the idea of threads supporting fediverse, but not loving threads experience.

Sometimes I try to explain things with the intent of a conversation, but often its feeling like I'm pitching an idea that needs to be so precisely shaped that I'm throwing directly in to their catching hand.

If I could ask the authors of @TeamTopologies 2 questions it would be:

1. Your book is often referred to as 'mandatory reading for C-suites, but your book focuses down at working layer of "teams". What happened to the management layers silo's between the CIO and the teams? Do they get dissolved, where did they go?

2. I was listening to the audiobook version of the book on Audible, where can I find copies of the figures/visualizations from the book?
