I also think mech keyboard are flatly superior in almost all experiential regards, so of course they'd do well. Better sounds, better feedback on your fingertips, generally ensuring better n-rollover due to gaming desires (or needs because of fast typing speeds). Though, I will same some non-mech keyboards have given great typing experiences from a sound, feeling, and response time perspective.

@robpike I've been obsessed with them since discovering the lovely clacks of the IBM model M as a child in the 90s, continuing on from there into every keyboard I interacted with that did or didn't make the tactile experience good. However, maybe you're right broadly, as I do miss the satisfying feels I remember growing up with my dad's stereo systems, tape decks, and similar. I despise touchscreens because I don't like the lack of locational/tactile feedback.

Some neat ideas but unfortunately SCHLUBWORLD didn't come to fruition due to having too much in too short of time (and other life happenings mucking with my timing). Some of it was enjoyable and I liked the idea -- also my wife made a nice logo in like half an hour before the deadline.

Some #Ebitengine experimentation for the "union" theme game jam...

More unit distribution/pathing work -- now with preemptive shaping based upon unit priority.

#golang #RTS #ebitengine

WIP stand-alone implementation of size-based unit distribution within cells for the in-dev MindFire Games #RTS! Much more logic to figure out, but seems to be a decent start.

3D rotation preview now functional in Staxie, woohoo.
