Why do we have to keep burning oil?

Because its filthy and wrecks stuff, because it can be coercively turned off, because its only in a few places, because they can keep raising the price to control economies.

Why are they trying to stop solar?

Because its clean and solves problems, because it keeps arriving everywhere, because it can't be turned off, because the price keeps falling.

Un jour de printemps

Recently I was worried because the doors were falling off of the little food pantry in our town.
I asked around until I connected with the person who was going to make new doors.
Today when I brought food I see the new doors installed and they are much nicer and more weather proof than the old ones.
Pretty exciting stuff.
