Neat-o! If we all put our Mastodon handles in our Twitter bios, tools like these can scan our followers who do the same, and generate a list you can import (be sure to Merge) into your Followers on Mastodon.

THE SEASON APPROACHES!
Happy November, I guess!
Good thing we got the snowblower started up and ready for the season yesterday, because I just needed it!
@terribleMia I’d love to find one that’s somewhere between just a handful of people and, well, the flagship instance that gets overloaded when Twitter has a bad week
@terribleMia it’s hard because I don’t want a new community so much as I want to revive the community I had during the peak of webdev Twitter

One of the things I occasionally get paid to do by companies/execs is to tell them why everything seemed to SUDDENLY go wrong, and subs/readers dropped like a stone.

So, with everything going on at Twitter rn, time for a thread about the Trust Thermocline /1

@tkadlec “sure. I’ll check the box. Maybe it will finally work THIS time…”
"Would you like to stay signed in?" is the cutest little lie.

One thing messaging apps never seem to grasp is I want to give group conversations a nickname for *me*, not the whole group.

I want to name it “Hetfields & Hammetts”. Adding “& Grants” makes it needlessly long, but is sadly necessary if others in the group are forced to use the same nickname. I have so many groups that are long cryptic strings of initials (“J + K + M + R + C”) because of this restriction.
