Vaccines/science are wonderful things society has achieved and we should use them as suggested.

I like to think I'm clever, but probably 99% of my cleverness is just me remembering how someone else handled something.

The Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court wasn't so much using his "ingenuity" as he was flexing his knowledge of history.

[I am that Yankee.]

RED FUCKING ALERT

The United States is dropping land mines around villages in Iran. Images posted to social media Thursday show what experts said are U.S. land mines dispersed across a residential area in southern Iran, in what appears to be the first instance in more than two decades of American forces using the weapons.

The photos show American BLU-91/B anti-tank land mines, which are released from an aircraft as part of the Gator mine scattering system, according to four munitions experts who reviewed the imagery at The Washington Post’s request. The United States is the only party in the Iran war known to possess the system.

LAND MINES ARE A WAR CRIME! What in the actual fuck are we doing here? This is a violation of law, of sense, and of humanity. Den Hague for everyone involved.

Wild that America has a president who regularly goes “I’ll start World War 3” to tank the stock market and then at the last minute says “j/k I’m not invading Greenland/Iran/Canada/etc” then the market jumps back up with mysterious people making a killing after he backs down.

An amazing coincidence.

Republicans spent weeks preaching “decency” after Charlie Kirk died. Now Trump is literally celebrating Robert Mueller’s death. Where’s that same energy, you hypocrites? I’ll wait.
the only people who think "write code faster" is more important than "write code better" are money perverts and the intellectually infirm
Motherfuckers, we didn’t blow up the school by mistake. We very intentionally blew it up. We may not have meant to strike a school there, but we sure as shit meant to hit that building, and it is negligent to have not known it was a school. This wasn’t some hidden compound.
@danny @nolan @bea It would be funny if it wasn't tragic that the idea of modern software development is to hit the randomizer button until something vaguely correct comes out instead of just knowing how to do something and doing it intentionally.

Perhaps 'natural selection' vs. 'intelligent design' is a false dichotomy.

Looking at the world today, have we given 'stupid selection' any consideration?

Journalists, editors: One small thing you can do to push back on this criminal regime is use the Department of Defense's actual name, not the sham name the fascists made up outside the law. And that includes the actual title of Pete Hegseth's job, not the one he made up for himself. Until Congress decides those are the proper titles in the law, the made up fascist names should not be promulgated by U.S. news rooms. #journalism #media

p.s. I noticed a story from ABC News did this yesterday and I was glad to see it.
