@proedie Please allow me to correct that. LEDs dim just fine. LEDs are among the easiest light sources in the world to dim.
It's just that, if you've got shareholders and/or are trying to make a quick buck, why would you spend a few cents on a current control circuit when you can just hook the LED up to your microcontroller's digital port and twiddle it really fast?
Anyway, "demand real LED dimming" is what I'm saying.
