I added a couple prints to my online store, including 2 copies of this painting of Cali. Last ones I have left! https://www.katedaviesillustration.ca/store
I also have time for one more commissioned #petportrait this month! I am always happy to paint bunnies but can do any animal you'd like.

In Chinese folklore, the Moon Rabbit lives in the moon and is constantly pounding with a mortal and pestle. Sometimes he makes an alchemical elixir of immortality for the moon goddess Chang'e. Other times he makes rice cakes and moon cakes for her, or medicine for humans.

I wanted to introduce my tiny friend Ed! He's a dwarf hamster and we adopted him from the Humane Society. His Mom was surrendered to the shelter pregnant and he was born in a foster home. We adopted him when he was 1 month old. His birthday is April 25th. He loves sand, his wheel, broccoli, tofu, sunflower seeds, flax, digging holes and sleeping in his mushroom house or multi chamber hide. He keeps mostly nocturnal hours and starts his day around 11pm.

This is Dot! We adopted her 6 months ago. She's around 8 years old. She enjoys following us around the apartment, staring at us when it's time for food, trying to find crumbs on the floor, lying near our feet, resting her head on people and things, digging blankets, food and afternoon naps.
This was the artwork I painted for my holiday cards this past December. My bunny Dot and my hamster Ed curling together. It was done in watercolours and gouache with a bit of touch ups in Procreate.
Hello, just trying to figure things out here.
