I want to make counselors aware of a resource for survivors of many types -- mental health, trauma, and more.
LIVE, Dammit (Previously Survivors' Haven): https://livedammit.com/
"A mental health support site with stories, tools, a free e-course, bookstore & inspiring wearables—for stubborn souls doing the work to stay here, stay human, & stay strong."
The website allows survivors to share stories of struggle and endurance, features in-depth articles and interviews, uplifting quotes, links to outside resources, and more.
They are also on Bluesky at:
https://bsky.app/profile/livedammit.bsky.social
I have added them to my Mastodon Psych Bot news feed at:
https://mastodon.clinicians-exchange.org/@psychbot
Thanks,
Michael

There are days when world feels like it’s unraveling— more outrage, more grief, more fear with every headline. It’s hard to stay centered when democracy, truth, kindness, and the natural world are under attack. It’s no wonder so many of us are exhausted, asking How do I keep going? And yet—we’re still here. Still holding […]
Five years ago today, Asheville police responded to an unruly march with violence, sparking multiple nights of rioting in a city where people are normally hesitant to even take the streets.
The George Floyd Rebellion was so recent but the work of its cooption and erasure began before the smoke cleared.
We need the strength of these collective experiences now to confront the violence that never stopped. Within these memories is the confidence in ourselves and each other, the willingness to risk it all to get free. But it starts with remembering.
To that end here are a few essays we recommend reading…
