At KASTEL Security Research Labs, 18 nationalities are conducting research into cyber security. To celebrate today’s #InternationalDay of Girlsand Women in Science 2025, we would like to introduce Shalini Banerjee from India.
“My name is Shalini Banerjee and I am a Postdoc Research Associate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. There, I am a part of the research group “Research Group for Secure Computation and Communication” at KASTEL Security Research Labs."

KIT KarlsruheDie auf dieser historischen Aufnahme aus dem KIT-Archiv mit dem Mörser arbeitende Frau ist Magdalena Neff, geborene Meub – Deutschlands erste approbierte Apothekerin. 1904 bis 1906 absolvierte sie ein Pharmaziestudium an der Technischen Hochschule Karlsruhe, einer Vorgängereinrichtung des #KITKarlsruhe.
