#Siri is dumb as rocks. I swear it wasn’t this dumb always.
I didn’t intend to turn this into a series. Just like how did it not do this?

I love the tweaked #ios26 home screen #animation to account for the velocity you flick with. It's still pretty snappy if you swipe up with only a little force but now has an even more pronounced arch and speed when you really fling an app up hard.
There are some touches in iOS 26 I really enjoy and don't impact #UX negatively or accessibility. This is just pure joy when I see it. Want to see more of this as the direction.
Screenshot shows the same point in time with different velocity.
I created mocks of how #iPhonefold will accommodate #ios26 messages app and compared it to iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
I think the iPhone mini aspect ratio and width is most ideal still.
The pro max is hard to hold and while seeing more conversation is good there's diminishing returns on the value.
The folding phone's will still feel wide in the hand but less top heavy. Screen would feel cramped but still usable. Though about as usable as original #iPhone.
To me, the perfect folding phone would be something like this.
It'd have to have two folds. When fully folded it'd be essentially iPhone mini dimensions and aspect ratio. When unfolded it'd be a 4:3 aspect iPad with about 8" diagonal.
This is the best of both worlds. Small easy one-handed use. Nice aspect tablet for sketching and watching movies.
If they did this with at least two good cameras, good battery life, and somehow solved water and dust ingress I'd be sold no matter the price.
The #iphone fold rumors are pretty weird.
Latest has the inner display as 7.58" diagonal & 1.45:1 aspect ratio. I made a web app to play with different sizes and ratios.

Based on this, with assuming some amount of the width is hinge, the folded screen would be about as wide as an iPhone 16 plus. But short. Gives Chubby iPod nano vibes (if you know you know).
Mockup of it between an iPhone 13 mini and 16 plus for scale.

Thoughts on #ios19 #design rumors:
Jon Prosser posted up a mockup. Gurman claims it's not accurate and I'm inclined to believe him.
Rumors say the redesign will be #visionOS inspired but the mock doesn't follow the rules of VisionOS. Apple never nests the glass effect on flat surfaces. The mocked top buttons are not a thing in visionOS and frankly just look bad.
The glass effect is used to give contrast to windows floating over other windows or content.

Here's my take on the #Applelaunch image:
Apple Home, Homekit, new security camera product.
Families live in a home. The Liquid Metal finish has a kind of Robocop/Terminator secure look. The glass looks like a lens of some kind–possible for a camera.
Apple also hasn't had any Apple intelligence story for smart homes products yet and this is a huge area where AI could be better utilized.
Plus the iPhone SE is boring and doesn't warrant a cool graphic...
