Kite society KAP Jasa was formed in 2017 as a kite aerial photography endeavour. Now it is a full-fledged kite non-profit NGO, the largest (and thus far the only) in Slovenia.

We make and fly kites, we participate at and organise kite festivals, we do kite workshops for kids and adults, and do all kinds of kite science.

KAP Jasa was recognised by Ministry of Culture of Slovenia as a NGO acting in public interest.

Flying over the Valley of Joy - just that there is no valley, not much joy, and we did not really flew *over* it.

The Bistra Charterhouse, Domus Vallis Jocosae -  now Technical Museum of Slovenia - on the western fringes of the Ljubljana Marshes. Established in 1255, closed in 1782, sold in 1826, nationalised in 1945, turned into a museum in 1952.

This was our sixth attempt at KAPing this elusive target - and we will have to come back ... :-)

Iška Moor - Iški morost - is a strict nature reserve in the middle of the Ljubljana Marshes landscape park, a home for many rare and endangered birds, butterflies, dragonflies, and plants.
