it's been 24 hours since my 18 year old #cat, Colin died. Here's a picture from before he was sick with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Colin was a very polite cat. Instead of just jumping up on me or the desk, he'd reach up and give me a little double-tap on my side or arm to get my attention, his way of asking permission to sit with me. I'd push back from the desk, cross one leg over the other to make some extra space, and he'd hop right up and settle in. #CatsOfMastodon

He ran from everyone else. When I came home, he ran to the door. When I called out his name, he came. No idea why I was the chosen one, but I'll take it.
