@theynege I wonder about all the great weird/local/whatever music I've never heard because I was too old, too young, wasn't there.
Re-listening to the first couple Big Shiny Tunes CDs (if you're Canadian and of a certain age, you know), and some of the songs are big, famous, still on the radio. You know, Bush, Sloan, RHCP, etc. And then there's the oddballs, like "Paste" by Pluto, a Vancouver band that had a brief run of a few years in the mid 90s. Nominated for a single Juno. It's a pretty decent song! I think a lot about who makes it and who doesn't (in various things) and how so much is a matter of luck and timing.
@SarraceniaWilds Kinda looks like a kick drum pedal but minus the mallet.
Debugging a user-reported issue by switching to my last release tag and rebuilding. Bypassing all the usual in-game checks by setting certain ini settings. Setting lots of logs to the message pane in Lua to try to figure out why one particular shopkeeper is being a jerk.
Been slowly picking away at this. Did the Marsh Cave, did Astos' castle, did the post-mystic key loot grab. Bought FIRE3 for my black mages, maxed out my heals, ready to start looting the Earth Cave. Just going to do some treasure-grabbing today. C. is still sleeping. The last few nights have been very rough.
