was the last to leave the chemo clinic.
the staff is amazing; but my day ended up 3 hours longer because the hedge-funded board won't pay for more staff.
another department chemo depends on didn't have enough staff. everybody called in sick.
but the hedge-funded board wants you, the patient, to believe that a not-for-profit hospital can be squeezed for profit with 'efficiencies'.
as if health care were a commodity, not a human right.
fuck hospital boards treating staff like trash.
I'm a little sad today. Not just for remembering the passing of Steve Jobs. But after almost a year of being here, I'm finally having to block trolls on Mastodon. Dammit.
These assholes should realize that I spent a decade working for Steve. So, this girl doesn't get intimidated.
And I almost pity the poor motherfuckers who try to mansplain Web browsers or video transcoding to me. Almost.
So Elon wants to eliminate most NSFW content in order to make Twitter "teen friendly."
This leaves me with a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach.
The headline: "From Donald Trump to George Santos, fraud cases expose the gullibility of rich conservatives"

People don't like:
- being told what to do
- feeling like they are wrong
- being in a situation where they don't have power
People like:
- answering questions about their thoughts and feelings
- feeling like they are helping solve problems
- feeling like they have agency
Figure out how to make your conversation less of the first bit and more of the second and you're going to be way more successful at getting what you want.
