@tychotithonus @fugueish, I used “big endian” recently. Does that count?

I'm working to aggregate some common questions about #passkeys, both from non-technical and technical perspectives. These will be used in an end user facing site in the future.

Any and all feedback is welcome.

@llp85704, I’m sorry, but this feels like a self-inflicted problem. It’s like whether a tomato is a fruit or whether a palm tree is a tree.

Do what we do in other fields where distinctions get fuzzy: List characteristics that are common to clear cases of something being a router; list distinct characteristics of the clear cases of something being a switch; and for the non-clear cases you list list which properties hold for the case.

If I had any talent I would do a spoof of each of the Catholic right wing justices souring on Trump bc of his blasphemy. I think I could only even make it believable and/or funny with ACB, tho. Alito might be fun to MAKE, mind.
@SocraticEthics, this is probably better than the USSR/Hungary water polo match but f 1956 (or 1957?)
@georgetakei, and yet it took them ten days to fly from Florida to San Diego.
@jerasikehorn.bsky.social @pinkfloydlarson.bsky.social, I think that the difference is that Orbán wasn’t delusional about crowd sizes. He realized from seeing the enormous turnout at TISZA campaign events in the days before the election that a January 6 was not an option for him.
@timrichards, there is more subtext. Orbán initial claim to fame was a speech in June 1989 in which he led a chant of “ruszkik haza!” (Russians go home.)

@europesays, the article says,

‘They chanted “Russians, go home!”—the slogan of the country’s 1956 revolution.’

which is true, but it misses the real substance of this taunt. Orbán led that chant in the June 1989 speech that brought him fame.

Rolling back to the Kremlin. Today’s cartoon by Piet. More cartoons: https://www.cartoonmovement.com/
