Sorry, meant PDP, product detail page!
I keep mixing those up, which is very annoying and confusing!
Additional: Developer has just suggested: We could look to noindex/nofollow these pages, but put the rich snippet data on the PDP so it can appear in the SERPs.
Is this OK?
Question about product reviews and Q&As on PLPs.
We're soon going to update our product listing pages. Currently we have all reviews and Q&As on the PLP, but to help with speed issues, and also because we're going to let customers add photos, we're moving them to their own pages, with 5-10 still on PLP, then "read more" link.
What is best practice? Just a relevant meta title, eg Reviews of [product name], Questions about [product name], or a canonical to PLP, or noindex, or something else?
SEO link spammers, please update dates on your articles!
Just had an email ... "It happens we recently published a relevant article to your piece." ... I looks at article. ... "Pubished October 19, 2022"
What is really weird, is that the article has nothing to do with their business. It's as if they've written articles on loads of topics, just to try to get links.
The things people do for links eh?
Finally had a look at ChatGPT. Some interesting results. It gets a lot of facts very wrong, but writes some impressive content.
My last question was to ask it who the best SEO in England is. Geography also an issue!
