100%. The standard of apps on Apple TV is frankly abysmal and most of the crap is on the video player side.

I believe most of the issues stem from some crappy cross platform framework that these apps work with.

And you wonder why the LLMs get things wrong...
I like the easy ones.

I already shared this clip on X and Bluesky earlier today, but I wanted to say a little bit more about it. I think that this newly discovered footage of Steve Jobs congratulating Apple employees at an outdoor all-hands meeting at the Infinite Loop campus following MacWorld New York in 1999 is some of the most important that exists of him. It’s awfully rare footage, not just because it’s an internal meeting but because it shows a behind the scenes look at life at Apple in those early days of his return.

I do wish App Store Connect had a checkbox somewhere to automatically scale pricing by purchasing power region to region. You can do this, manually, by remembering to set individual prices per region every time, but that's a nightmare. You hear about this from Brazilian customers all the time, especially, where App Store price tiers are perhaps 2X or more what they should be

In this promotional photo from Apple, the headphones are more expensive than the computer.

For a recent Widgetsmith feature I wanted to know how common the use of Display Zoom was among iOS users, but I couldn't find any published data on it. So I added the necessary analytics for collecting this data point, so that I could publish.

I found that around 1.9% of users have it enabled. Which is much lower than I would have guessed.

It is most common for with SE and Mini models, and least common for the Pro models.
