Today I ventured into streaming audio to my networked devices via linux.
Everything I found seemed overly complex or broken for my purposes and documented my setup in this blog post
With the endless ads on #youtube , I've been moving some of my videos from my channel over to my #peertube instance.
It's been a learning experience on how to make the best use of storage (it's expensive. Who knew), and had to conform all the uploads to 1080@25 instead of 1440@50.
Surprisingly, despite being high-motion, the videos don't loose too much after compression (undulations/holes/bumps get compressed-away) with #av1
Now I can watch my videos without ads.

Recently, i've been getting back into embedded programming after a v'long hiatus.
Rather than going back to what I knew (lpc2xxx , MSP430, attiny, Spartan II) I thought i'd take the easy route and try a Raspberry PICO 2.
It wasn't quite as easy as I thought and I doubt beginners will figure out how to fix things easily and didn't find any guides on RPI's website.
I've added a blog post on how to get going with a PICO 2 on Debian
