@RobeeShepherd The rental company (Sixt) seems to have their own app, which I've had a play with now and it's showing the charging spots I know about / expect, with a thing saying if they are in use, so fingers crossed this will all be easy!

I've got a deinstall to do next month and it's not gonna need a van, so I've decided to try hiring an electric car. I've never driven an EV before, so hit me up with any essential advice/gotchas/oh-shit-you've-made-a-mistake you have…

I have to drive London to Liverpool. The distance is allegedly within the car range, but I'll likely stop for lunch at a services along the way, so I'll have an opportunity for a top-up

@Trikkitt @jonty I have an HDS2202S and I'd say it is grea except for:
- a little slow to boot up compared to an old-school multimeter which just turns on
- battery life could be better, but my in-the-field kit contains a big power bank for driving my USB-C soldering iron (2nd incredibly useful bit of kit)

@Trikkitt My current fave bit of kit is an Owon 2-channel hand-held digital oscilloscope – same size as my old multimeter but a ton more useful
