I am so incredibly honored to share that I will be working alongside the legend, the myth, the Underscore himself @_Davidsmith, as well as @ismh86, and @imyke!

Our brief collaboration on the latest Pedometer++ Apple Watch update was such a fun experience, it makes me very excited to see what we can do next ✨

Finally decided to pull the trigger on ordering this bad boy (the portable 5G Wi-Fi 7 travel router GL.iNet Mudi 7). I hope it's as nice as it seems...
Hell yeah, now we’re cooking with gas in 2026. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACsHgWwP9Io
Describe Extension in Safari is *awesome*. Prompted this one, and now with one click I can save all images from a webpage to downloads that are larger than 500px wide.

And apparently these extensions DO sync to your other devices! Created on Mac, instantly showed up on iPhone

With private cloud compute opening up to developers, one edge case to check out is when the user hits usage limits (or gets close to one).

In Xcode 27, there's a new scheme option you can use to simulate basically any scenario (not available, over limit, etc).

Tools like MLX and Core AI enable lightning-fast inference on Apple Silicon, but we're missing the models and streamlined SDKs to actually take advantage of them. That's why we're building Desert Ant Labs, a European on-device AI lab. We're going to ship dozens of small, opinionated audio and visual models and SDKs that drop into any product with a few lines of code. No inference cost. Nothing leaving the device. Running on the 6 billion devices people already own.
The updates coming to Apple’s built-in raw photo processing will be insane. Here is their Raw 8 processor vs the new version 9

Datatype — variable font that turns text into charts

An OpenType variable font that turns simple text expressions into inline charts. No JavaScript, no images — just type.

So uhhhh… Apple should really rethink the Private Cloud Compute developer access limitation. I do happen to have an app that’s had more than 2 million downloads. That app is ChibiStudio, an app that’s been in the App Store for over 10 years. It’s not like I’m getting a million new users every year nowadays. And I’m also not making any real money with it 🥲 #wwdc26
