I still think about this eruption and how massive it was. The fact that the shock wave circled the globe over and over again and we were able to detect that is mind boggling

Shoveled the driveway three times today. And then celebrated by going snow shoeing for the first time ever
I stopped by a tiny bookstore looking for this book. They didn't have it, but told me to check another tiny bookstore that did. My love affair with Northampton continues
The snow melted to reveal an elaborate system of pathways left by mice. My brain really wants to derive some meaning from the shapes of the pathways.
Have I mentioned how happy we've been since moving to New England?
Ask me again in the dead of winter, but I plan to really lean into it.

I have completed a little over 97% of this latch hook project that has been a tribute to the memory of our sweet baby girl, Koda. I've never loved a dog more than her. Over 20,000 strands of yarn in so far.
Anyone have good recipes for red chanterelles? These were picked in our front yard!
