Seasons are changing. Soon I'll have to hole up for the winter, switch to map reading mode, and plot new destinations and dream up new shenanigans.

After a night out on the road covering the kind of miles Santa does, I bet the after party at the North Pole is a total rager.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Out on that long road, thoughts passing through your mind like the dashes of the centerline. The air rushes past but you still feel a stillness: you've been moving too long. Somewhere there's a place to rest, but in the darkness those thoughts will catch back up... you'll have to outrun them again in the morning.

New post on my blog. Settling in for the winter, but little to report. I've got some parts arriving now so I can get the bike fixed up, and am trying to figure out a rhythm now that I'm off the road for awhile. #jkroams

Just some musings about upcoming work on the bike, and some thoughts on possibly replacing it. Winter is coming, and the goals remain the same.

End of The Island Adventure

Yes, I’m finally off Vancouver Island, poking around British Columbia as the first leaves start to turn yellow. I look back at this year’s trip and can’t really make sense of it. …
