@Geri Importers can claim back the import duty/tariffs that were illegally charged. Duty charged on courier shipments are paid by couriers (DHL/Fedex) and then they charge their customers who have no clue what part of the duty was illegal. Again: duty is paid by importers, not by exporters. If European exporters reduced their prices to cover for the tariffs, they will not get any of their losses back. But US importers and couriers can make a lot of money unless the end-users are reimbursed ....
