Het moge geen verrassing zijn dat ik heel blij ben met deze nodige ontwikkeling.
Nederlandse universiteiten nemen zelf het initiatief om hun digitale afhankelijkheid terug te dringen en richten daarvoor een nieuwe Commissie Digitale Autonomie Universiteiten (DAU) op. In plaats van te wachten op Europese of nationale maatregelen, willen zij versneld eigen stappen zetten richting meer controle over hun digitale infrastructuur en data.

Hernieuwbare energie is simpelweg goedkoper. En dan zijn er mensen die honderden miljarden willen uitgeven voor de bouw van nucleaire centrales?
Mijn voorstel is om de huidige generatie gascentrales met een hoog rendement achter de hand te houden als vangnet voor wanneer hernieuwbare energie tijdelijk onvoldoende capaciteit kan opwekken. Dat is simpelweg de meest realistische oplossing.
