I'm not mad at you if you've tried to use AI because you want things to be easier.

I'm mad at the people who are telling you that our current "AI" technologies are the solution. Because they are lying to you.

They are lying about what AI can do.

They are lying about why they are making it.

They are lying about what it costs.

They are lying about what will happen to you if it works.

They are lying about what is happening to the world in the meantime while it very definitely doesn't.

(Auch für die Software-Upgrades. Škoda musste die frühen Enyaqs in die Werkstatt zurückrufen, weil die zuerst verbauten 12V-Batterien für große Over-the-Air-Updates zu schwach waren.)

Um zu starten.

Das Hochvolt-System (400V/800V) ist im ausgeschalteten Zustand von der Batterie getrennt. Neben allen anderen Dingen, die da noch funktionieren sollen (Radio, Parklicht, Zentralverriegelung, ...) brauchst Du die 12V unter anderem auch dafür, dass die Hochvoltbatterie wieder mit dem Rest des Hochvolt-Systems verbunden wird. Also: Um zu starten. Und um all dir Dinge zu tun, die auch beim Verbrenner vom 12V-System gemacht werden.

@tagesschau Immer, wenn etwas seitens der Bundesregierung illegal ist, wird das Wort "umstritten" verwendet.
Demnächst in der Tagesschau: Berichte über umstrittenes Glücksspiel, umstrittene Drogen, umstrittene Autorennen, umstrittene Müllentsorgung und umstrittener Waffenbesitz. Wenn wir doch nur so etwas wie Gesetze hätten, um nicht so viel streiten zu müssen.

Knowingly using a piece of software that *BY DESIGN* fabricates text is not "hallucination" - it is fraud. I'd be prosecuted if I sat down and invented references for submissions in a court case. I'd lose my job as an academic if I did the same for a paper. Someone explain why automating fraud has somehow made it completely fine and consequence-free?

The very tiny remaining few of us who still give a crap about "not lying" need to fight to bring back real consequences for fraud, fabrication
