Hi friends. As I begin my second three-year term on the @apereo Board of Directors, I'm honored and excited to have been elected Chair. It's an exciting and transformative time for Apereo. With a new strategic framework in place and key initiatives underway, we're pushing forward with renewed energy as "the source for open source in higher education." I can't wait to collaborate with my fellow Board Directors to pursue this new course.

The Ivy Plus #libraries reciprocal-lending service, "Borrow Direct" now includes 90-million-volumes. On Dec. 13, Borrow Direct upgraded to a new #opensource software system.

The Ivy Plus Libraries Confederation coordinated the launch of the #OSS software, "Return ReShareables" developed by Project ReShare, a community of libraries, consortia, software developers, and open source advocates.
