Busy weekend with Tempe Bicycle Action Group!

Yesterday we helped marshal Doreen Garlid’s candidate ride as part of our candidate group rides initiative, and ended the day with our Trick-or-Treat Ride! 👻

And all just in time for some actually nice weather for a change 😎

Installed a new bike rack at Changing Hands Tempe this morning as part of Tempe Bicycle Action Group’s bike racks for businesses program! 🚲🔒

The old rack was completely rusted through on one side, so it was time for a new one.

👀 🚲 Tempe is gearing up for building out the next BIKEiT route, 'Reflector,' along Country Club Way south of the US-60 bike/ped bridge.

Before the council this evening is a contract for the design and construction of the project:

It's calling for "buffered/protected bike lanes," let's hope we can get the council to call for actually protected lanes.

Shed update: first coat of paint on the doors and eaves. Used a pneumatic paint gun for the first time, came out pretty decent all things considered I’d say.

Color is “Bells of Ireland” in Clark + Kensington exterior flat.

Second coat going on tomorrow morning, then next weekend will be working on the roof.
