Sometimes I just keep going, even though my give a damn is gone. Push on through, find another day, look for another way. I was young once. Had a floppy gray hat with a bright purple patch on it. Keep On Truckin! I guess that's all we can do in this world we find ourselves in.

When writing about #journalism or the failures thereof, it's important to remember that journalists have families and mortgages and bosses. Don't criticize the little guy trying to get by. Go after the billionaire owner who told the editor in chief who told the editors who told the reporters what they can write. It starts at the top. Always.

#Trump served 4 years, was out but still around for 4, and is now 14 months into a 2nd 4 year term. I still don't know if he believes the crap he says, or if he knows he's a liar. I don't suppose it matters. He has a loyal following that buys into his bull no matter how false it is. It just really irks me. Can he possibly believe the crap he says? The self righteous have a long history of #stupidity.

I don't know. Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm cynical in my old age. But I can't make myself believe anything #Trump says. He's arrogant, ignorant, and powerful. A dangerous combination. Now we have " Do as I say. Pass my bill so I can control who votes or I won't sign anything" Works for me. Too damn many laws anyway.

#Iran is a convenient way to keep the prices high. Mo Money for them that has.

I was thinking about #DOGE today. Don't know why. They were going to rewrite the #SSA software in 6 months. Jump to today. Some basement office, multiple computers, state of the art stuff. In the middle of it all some forgotten 22 year old sitting at a desk, surrounded by red bull cans, pizza boxes, and m&m wrappers. One monitor has some AI codebot. The other is showing a section of the 50 million lines of code whose only saving grace is that it works. He's muttering to himself "I can do this"

It amazes me that #Trump hasn't dislocated his shoulder patting himself on the back.
