The problem with being a huge nerd who grew up in the '80s and '90s, but who has since become an adult is being torn between the two perfect aesthetic forms of home computer existence - maximalism or minimalism.
Listen to the sound of Shenzhen, a city in China with 17,500,000 people. It's also a city where all the motorbikes, taxis and buses are battery powered.
No, no. I mean ALL of them.
Can we have this in our cities too please? 🙏
I think we should tell Gen Z that Head Cleaner's "Play Both Sides" was the 🔥 album of 1986

@caseyliss Hi! I sold my Model S and am happily leasing an Ioniq 5 now. It's a nice car to drive and all that, but relevant to your interests, you can bring in all its details to ✨Home Assistant✨

There's a big feed of data available, but here's my friendly custom dashboard for it:

The current situation...

My bag had an AirTag in it, so after buying some replacement devices, I checked its location and it was only a few miles away so my colleague and I had to go check it out. We found my work bag in a dumpster outside a T-Mobile store and all my stuff except computer and iPad was still in it!

I got the new computer and iPad all up and running from cloud backups that night and we had successful customer visits for the rest of the week.

Check your backups, people! (2/2)

I had a bit of an adventure on a California trip this week. I picked up my rental car at SJC and went to In-N-Out burger for dinner. Walking out, I saw that a rear side window was smashed and my work bag was stolen. That had my work computer, personal iPad, and a bunch of cables and little parts. (1/2)

@siracusa Hi, I appreciate your rundown of current monitors for Macs.

I just noticed in the show notes for ATP 618 Overtime, there's a typo in the link to the Asus 6K, calling it "PorArt" instead of ProArt. Since I just heard in the Member show how you go back to fix old typos, I thought I'd let you know!
