Ok, Mastodon is officially a lot more awesome than I had realised. There's a federated server for everyone who's really into bitcoin, and, yes, it is full of people who are as awful as you can imagine. But, with one click, you can block the entire domain! 12.8k thousand crypto weirdos filtered out in a click. Amazing.

@Hellybelly looks like the hate speech filled instances those users are on are blocked by many other instances, such as mastodon.social. In other words we cannot interact with those users, luckily. The author apparently joined a tiny local UK instance which sadly did not use those blocklists.

Yet another landmine to watch out for while looking for Twitter alternatives…

On this day a year ago I visited Stockholm for the last time. I sold a camera and bought my beloved Leica M8, and also took some photos with both Fujifilm and the Yashica. It was quite a different world and I miss it so much!

To be honest, I encountered little wildlife during my time in the forest this spring. There were some deer, but I never quite got any good photos of them. All I got were their ticks! The horses belong to Gunnebo Ryttarsällskap.

I've been back to this spot in Sävedalen several times since I found it on this occasion. Also, the Lightroom camera on iOS takes great HDR photos, but they're challenging to edit as the sliders don't start out neutral!
